At Hillside Horizon for Teens, we recognize how deeply intertwined mental health is within the family dynamic. Emphasizing teen family therapy, we aim to nurture open dialogue, empathy, and mutual support, acknowledging its crucial role in our holistic approach.

What is Family Therapy?

Family therapy for teens, often referred to as systemic therapy, adopts a holistic approach by engaging the entire family in the process. It addresses and resolves challenges that affect the well-being of individual members, understanding that a teen’s mental health is deeply interconnected with the family’s dynamics and relationships. The aim of family therapy for teens is to foster better communication, deepen understanding, and strengthen the bonds within the family, creating a more supportive and healthy environment for everyone involved.
